While dressed in our glorious book-inspired costumes, we did an array of World Book Day activities throughout the day, including a book swap and a live lesson with an author, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We also tried our hand at illustration by following Quentin Blake's tutorial on how to draw Willy Wonka!
Here is what a pupil thought: "World Book Day was so much fun. I loved all the activities we did and the idea of the book swap. I liked dressing up and I enjoy it every year! Thank you."
