Micro Bug Hotels

As part of our science learning we have been investigating habitats, including micro-habitats for different animals.

As a class, we worked in pairs to make our own micro-habitat (bug hotel) and they have been placed around school.  We will be investigating to see if the micro-beasts like the homes we have made for them.  The children made a list of what the micro-beasts require to survive and we made sure we have included all the items that they like.  E.g. soil, water, leaves, sticks, shade and protection from predators. We had a lot of fun!
