Learning Together

It was wonderful having some of our parents stay and play with us today. The children enjoyed reading, making aliens from different construction materials, sorting and naming planets, colouring paper-plate planets and exploring the gloopy gloop!

To link our learning with 'Science Week', we talked about the gloop being 'solid' when we roll it around in our hands but when we stopped, it turned into a 'liquid'. For the rest of the week we will further investigate making our gloop using different ingredients such as shaving foam and washing-up liquid to explore different textures and consistencies.
