Can Edison save Sergeant Phil Bones?

This morning during our science lesson a letter was delivered. It had come from the postman to Mrs Robinson. When we opened the letter we discovered it was from Sergeant Phil Bones who was stuck in the outback!

He had ripped his army clothing on a cactus so the circuit for his tracker had broken. Luckily, he told us the objects he had in his backpack. We discovered that some of these were conductors and he could use them to fix the circuit so his squad could locate him.

We set to work writing our letters and drawing our diagrams to tell Sergeant Phil Bones how to fix his circuit. The letter has been safely given to the postman this morning and hopefully we will hear back after half term...
