This week in Science, we have looked at lots of different types of plants, including garden and wild plants. We have also found out what the difference is between garden and wild plants.
We enjoyed finding out about the different plant names and playing sorting games to identify which plants were garden or wild. We then went on a plant hunt around the school grounds to see if we could spot some of the different plants we had been learning about.
Have a go at doing your own plant hunt at home and see what plants you can find. I have attached a 'Plant Hunt' sheet if you want to give it a go!
The children have also constructed their own plant and added some labels to show the different parts of a plant. Next week, we will be growing some plants as part of our science investigation.
