Location: Skelton Newby Hall Church of England Primary School, Skelton-on-Ure, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 5AJ

Grade/Band: Band 4 to 5 depending on experience (scp 9-16)

Vacancy Hours: 20 Hours a week

Contract Type: Fixed Term 31/08/2020 TTO

Salary Range (From and To): £7,729.68 - £8,023.09 pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide administrative support in a friendly and vibrant village school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient administrator to support the day-to-day smooth running of the school. The successful candidate will also be the first point of contact for parents, staff, pupils and governors. Candidates need to be confident, conscientious and adaptable. 

Key skills: • Ability to prioritise and use initiative • Efficient and well-organised • Excellent communication/people skills across the board • Ability to respect and protect confidentiality • Conscientious and professional • A high standard of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems • Basic financial awareness 

Working hours: 08:00 – 12:00 Mon-Fri (Term time only) 

There may be occasions (e.g Parents’ Evenings) when the hours will need to be flexible.
