*CLASS CHALLENGE:  Class 4's got talent

Have you recently discovered a new talent that you never before thought you could do? Do you think you can do something that nobody else can? Will your hidden talent rocket you to stardom?! Lets have a competition to find out!

Please can you do the following:

  • Get someone to film your hidden talent (or something you have really enjoyed doing during lockdown) and email it to the class 4 email.
  • Don't forget to introduce yourself and what your talent is going to be!

I have only received one submission so far: the deadline for your video is the 22nd of May (Friday) and I would love to get some more.

  • NEW LEARNING TOOL:  https://www.thenational.academy - ONLINE LESSONS (ALL SUBJECTS) FOR YEARS RECEPTION TO YEAR 10

  • Please remember to look at the wonderful learning ideas on the 'Learning Projects' attachment.
  • READING:  Well done to all those children in Year 4 who have been working hard on Reading Plus - we are really proud of you!  Children should be aiming to do three reading tests per week (approx 30mins/ session) but they can also access the vocabulary and writing tasks each week as well.  Please just message Mrs Dixon or Mr Brook if you need support.

  • READING:  Ideally, all children should be reading something every day, it could be a magazine article, recipe, comic book, review of a theme park online... just find something you find interesting! Perhaps you could then write a book review... please feel free to send us pictures of the wonderful activities you have been doing.

  • REMINDER:  Purple Mash - times tables (daily practise) and weekly spelling test (SUMMER 1 - Week 4 onwards).

The children are aware that they need to continue to try their best with their home learning, to build on the good progress they have already made.  Please use the related links and the weekly learning projects in the attachments for home learning resources and ideas.

You might have seen on the most recent post that I have shared some of the amazing work from some of Class 4. If you want your work to be featured - email it to me on the class 4 email.

Please get in touch if you need our support and we hope you can continue to stay safe.

Mr Brook
