Olaf and Ivy

What an exiting week we have had in Byrd Class. Last week, we found an antler in the garden covered in magic dust. We decided it must have come from one of Santa's reindeers so we each wrote letters to Santa and posted them in our local post box. We then waited patiently for a letter from Santa to arrive.

And then it did! With Bob and Conker the elves! Santa explained what had happened and Buddy the reindeer was practicing flying and had a little bump. Santa told us to keep out eyes peeled for any other reindeers we might see in training. After visiting the St John's Church, we came back into school to find two of Santa's reindeers on our school field!!!! We just couldn't believe it! We met Olaf and Baby Ivy (who was only 8 months old) and we were able to gently stroke them on their nose and feed them.

It was a very special day!
