This week Catherine from Rural Arts, Thirsk came to lead a workshop to create our versions of the crown jewels in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. These were displayed at Ripon Cathedral for a service of Remembrance which took place on Friday.
Our focus was on texture and we created this in various ways as you can see from the photos. We learned lots of new skills and methods to create textured effects.
