Threads Through Creation at Ripon Cathedral

Last Tuesday our class had the pleasure of going to Ripon Cathedral to visit the exhibition of 'Threads Through Creation'. We walked into town with the rest of school for our visit.

The children were so impressed by the scale of the tapestries hung inside. They spotted lots of recognisable features from the Creation story which we studied last term.

They spoke about how the artist had used spirals to represent God and that this was a good way to show him woven throughout the story. There was lots of discussion  about the choices Adam and Eve made and how that ended the story within the Bible.
