Exploring the woods, just like Little Red Riding Hood.

What an exciting start to the week we had as we explored the woods near our school.  The children were so observant, using each of our senses throughout the walk, and thought carefully about which information they wanted to record to use as part of our English writing task.

The children had an interesting discussion about why there are different versions of Little Red Riding Hood.  When we eventually write our own versions the children will think carefully about their intended audience... will Grandma get locked in the cupboard or gobbled up by the Big Bad Wolf?

We can't wait to read your stories.  Well done Bach Class.
