Sharow CE Primary School is part of the North Yorkshire Children and Young People's Service. We are a small village school offering a warm, friendly atmosphere.
We currently have a three class structure which enables us to keep class sizes small and reduce the age spread within each.
Our children usually start school after their fourth birthday and stay with us until they reach eleven. The school is set in large rural surroundings and has occupied this site since 1856. The children benefit from stunning outdoor learning environments with access to an adventure playground, school field and quiet zones.
In 1994 the building was extended to give us new toilets and office accommodation. 1997 saw the school’s accommodation extended again to give us an additional classroom. The Diocese gave the school house back to the school in 2005 and it has been converted into a new classroom and staffroom as well as accommodation for our after school club.
